
Membership/Eligibility
TxDOT
Credit Union belongs to all of the employees and their families working or living
in the Texas Department of Transportation District 8. Employees who work in the Abilene
regional office of the Motor Vehicle Division are included. The field of membership
expands to the employees and their families working for the Department of Public Safety and
Taylor County Sheriff's Department.

Credit Union currently offers Share/Savings Accounts, IRA Accounts, Term Share Certificates
(6 and 12 month) and Christmas Club Accounts. Our loan portfolio includes New & Used Vehicles, Farm Equipment,
Recreational Vehicles, Along with Share/Savings Secured and Term Share
Certificate Secured loans, TxDOT Credit Union also offers Personal/Signature Loans
and Seasonal Loans.

Credit Union is located at 4174 Old Anson Road in Abilene Texas. The facility is
located just south of the Texas Department of Transportation regional office in Abilene.
With a small, friendly staff and dedicated board of directors, TxDOT Credit Union
strives to provide quality financial service with a "people helping people"
attitude.
COMPLAINT NOTICE
This Credit Union is incorporated under the laws of the State of Texas and under state
law is subject to regulatory oversight by the Texas Credit Union Department. If you have
a dispute with TxDOT Credit Union you should contact the credit union. If the dispute
is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may file a complaint against the Credit Union
by contacting the Texas Credit Union Department through one of the means indicated below:

ACCESS TO CREDIT UNION DOCUMENTS
In accordance to State of Texas Credit Union Department Commission Rule
91.310(a), TxDOT Credit Union shall provide notice to the membership of the
availability of certain documents related to the credit union's finances and
management. The credit union shall post such notice on the website and
publish such notice at least semiannually in "The Road Runner".
Upon request, a member is entitled to review or recieve a copy of the most
recent version of the following credit union documents:
- Balance & Income Statement
- Summary of the most recent Annual Supervisory Audit
- Written board policy regarding access to articles of incorporation, bylaws, rules, guidelines, board policies and copies thereof
- Internal Revenue Service Form 990
Requests for documents must be presented in writing to credit union
management. If the member wants to receive the documents by mail, then
the credit union will mail copies within 1 business day of the request.
