TxDOT Credit Union Privacy Policy

In conjunction with the Graham-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999, TxDOT Credit Union has adopted the following privacy policy:

TxDOT Credit Union collects nonpublic information about members from the applications and other forms filled out by the member, transaction performed on the member's accounts and Consumer Reporting Agencies (the credit bureau).

TxDOT Credit Union does not disclose any nonpublic information about a member to anyone else, except as permitted by law. TxDOT Credit Union restricts access to member's personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information in order to provide the member with services or products. The credit union shall maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard any and all member's nonpublic personal information.

TxDOT Credit Union will not share member account numbers and other types of access codes with nonaffiliated third parties that market products and services. In order to perform marketing for its own products and services, the credit union may disclose account numbers or codes to a service provider, so long as the service provider cannot directly initiate charges to the member's accounts.

The credit union will mail annually a Privacy Notice to the membership informing them of the credit union's policy.
